Hi, I'm Carone.

I’ve lived in Fairbanks nearly all my life, so when you work with me you’re working with someone from your community—someone you can meet for coffee and actually get to know.

My career has been a mix of hands-on production, technology, entrepreneurship, and administration—all with a practical, business-first focus. After college, I started in television in Fairbanks and spent time in Juneau doing similar work. I then served for several years in the Alaska State Legislature as Administrative Assistant to the Speaker of the House, where I learned what it takes to manage complex projects and support leaders under pressure.

After that I started a desktop publishing business in Juneau. I purchased the first Macintosh computer in town and later a laser printer as the business grew, producing monthly magazines for the boating, real estate, and broadcast communities. Moving back to Fairbanks in the early 1990s, I became fascinated with the emerging Internet. I taught myself HTML, built websites by hand, and began offering web development services to local companies.

From there I expanded into IT and administration roles in both the private and public sectors, and eventually served as Director of the Department of Distance Education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Throughout those years, my entrepreneurial streak kept me busy—I opened a café, developed retail products for local gift shops, and started a short-term vacation rental company in Sedona, Arizona.

I managed a medical practice for over a decade with a wonderful team including my husband who served as orthopedic surgeon. Following his retirement, I helped him launch a part-time company providing independent medical examinations to clients nation-wide. After his passing in October 2025, I returned to the work I love: web development, AI, and marketing.
